Hi,

Anyone has successfully configured Windowtester Pro on Hudson server?

I used Eclipse Indigo, Windowtester 3.7 all looks fine, but I got "Exception occurred on the SWT UI Thread" on my UI test cases. Anyone has a solution for this???

The test runs fine if I run it from ant call from batch file.. It is just that I'm not able to run the tests using Hudson Server. Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Yes, I'm successfully running tests with Windowtester on a Jenkins server (which should be close enough).

Does your Hudson server run as a windows service?
-> WindowTester needs access to the desktop, which a windows service does not have by default.

Just to make sure, are you calling exactly the same batch file manually (from command line) and from Hudson?

Regards,

Fred

Hello Fred,

Thanks for the response. I figured out the cause while googling on the issue, and it was the same as you pointed out in the e-mail. I now run/start the Hudson from command line while resolved the issue.

Thanks again for your response!
