Job Description
Role:
Will be responsible for stabilizing existing file delivery process and looking for short term opportunities to improve performance and ensure clients are receiving their data on time. Additionally, theres work required to adapt code to integrate with monitoring tools and improve overall logging and exception handling. Goal is to stabilize existing legacy perl implementation until the strategic platform becomes available.
Skillset:
5-6 years of development experience on Perl/UNIX. Experience using a diverse set of Perl modules including but not limited to file handling, networking and database operations. Additional experience in JAVA will be a big plus. Must have a proven track record of software development on UNIX. Strong analytical skills and ability to execute and deliver with quality a must.
