Informatica – System Administrator 

 

Profile:

• Experience Level around 7+ years
• Responsible for maintaining Informatica systems software and the runtime environment.
• Working with existing team to maintain Informatica PowerCenter v8.1.1.
• Plans to upgrade to v.9.1
• Applying hotfixes as needed to Informatica PowerCenter v8.1.1
• Perform implementation and rollout of Informatica Metadata Manager
• Provide technical support for the Informatica environment
• Work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment including throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning, monitoring and maintenance
• Work with our developer teams to advise on standards and tool usage Informatica repository performance tuning
• Supporting the Production, UAT, QA and Development ETL environments with responsibility for environment uptime and overall system performance
• Coordinating downtime with the application support team to perform upgrades and install hot fixes
