I've got a new Maxtor 300 GB hard drive, on which I want to install
Windows 2k Pro. 2k Pro SP3 or later is SUPPOSED to support 48 bit
logical bit addressing, but when I run the Windows Setup, I keep
getting capped at <137 MBs in partition size. What can I do to get
Windows to install on the full sized partition?

Your computer BIOS must be able to support 48bit addressing as well.
Otherwise you'll get <137GB.
