doskey.exe is in autoexec.nt. Even when doskey.exe is entered at a command prompt, the up and down arrows do not show previous commands. I'm using command.com. Any ideas as to what is wrong and what I should try?
Thanks,
Ted

I believe Windows 2000 uses cmd.exe and not command.com. If you use cmd.exe, the up and down arrows will bring you to the previous/next command.
Do you have any specific reason to use command.com?
