Hi, i am a student and doing software engineering. I am in my 5th
semester. I made a game on xna (language C#). The game was Tekken
(just like real Tekken). Now i am converting that game to windows
phone 7 game. I need to know how much is the scope on what i am doing?
and please also tell me how can i get appreciated from from Microsoft
if i can give them a sample of that game and if they can help me out
in developing that game as a new game launched? please help me if you
know how this will work.
Regards
Tim

I would be careful, doing a remake or port of a game such as that. Do you have permission from Namco to do such a thing? I would worry about that first, the way things are with copyright and trademarks these days, one must be very careful. Atari has sued someone for much less recently, I'm sure you heard, if not:  Atari-takes-down-ios-games-having-passing-resemblance-Battlezone Namco seems to be sue happy too, not as bad as Atari is now, but who is?  Namco sues over Pacman clones on Facebook My advise is to steer away from any franchise, as game companies do not really like there fans anymore, with a few exceptions.
I've never made a game for WP7, or Xbox 360, for various reasons. I don't understand what exactly you are asking me.

No u r getting me wrong, its not Tekken i said its like a game like
like that, but definately i cant make any game because of copy right
i know that, and even i cant publish it i know all that. I just wanted
to ask u the question that is there any way i can get in the eyes of
microsoft if i develop games for them. Like i just wanted to know that
can they give me permission to work for them? the game i made in my
course project was a two player. i just wanted to know that can i get
appriciated from a good game company to work for them? can microsoft
allow me to make games for their windows phone? Definately i need
permission to start that is why i posted here to come to know how
things work if i start working a new project. Please tell me if there
is any way i can get into a good career.

If you were to read that article you would see it was not Battle Zone, but a game like it, just a little like it. Some times it is not so much about copyright as a company does not like competition.
As far as your question, I don't know what you are talking about. Platform, what do you mean? I don't know anything about developing games for companies, no where have I stated that I do.
To make games for Windows Phone 7, all you need is a $100 a year membership, you don't need to deal with Microsoft anymore then that. I don't understand what you are trying to get at. Here is a good web site to read up on it. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/centrum-xna.aspx
I don't know why you are asking me for carrier advise.

yes i get your point. actually i asked the question in a wrong way its
not tekken, it has no resemblance even it was like i just wanted to
tell that if there is a game like that. actually i was asking you the
scope of the things like that if developers work on them as an example
i said that. Thanks for the link you shared. i think i can get there
something i was looking at.
