do not save your files in Windows system drive!

there may be times when your system craches, Windows ceases to work,
even the least. you have to format your Windows system drive (usually
C:) to reinstall Windows and make your system work. this erase all of
your files saved on that partition (drive).
so, it is wise to save all of your valuable files to other partitions.

you can also move your "My Dosuments" folder to some other partition.
do this:
1. visit some folder other than "My Dosuments" so that you can see "My
Dosuments" under "Other places" in left side pane of Windows Explorer,
right-click "My Dosuments".
OR
1. press "Start" button, locate and right-click "My Dosuments"

2. Properties>> move>> specify some folder in a partition other than
system drive>> Apply>> OK

[also, there are ways to make saving files to system drive reliable. ]
