Cannot get the application to work

Hello,

I cannot get the phone to connect. I have downloaded the software but
I am not sure about the ports etc and what they should be set to

Hi Sergio,

Windows Phone 7 PC remote control application need to connect with
your PC/NB through HTTP protocol and using 8088 port by default. You
have to download 'RomoteControlServer.exe' from
http://www.arock.com.tw/wp7/remotecontrol/RomoteControlServer.zip.

After you download and unzip it, you can find a file
'RomoteControlServer.exe', please run it with administrator mode if
your OS is Win7/Vista/XP, kindly make sure you've installed .NET
Framework 4 before running 'RomoteControlServer.exe'.

And your phone must connect to the intranet via wifi and got a IP in
the same network segment with your PC . And last step, you can try to
turn your firewall off on your PC for a short time to test this
application. (for secularity reason, please do not turn off your
firewall for a long time)
