Hello!

So I was just wondering if everyone will actually be done with their Chi-Square analysis by tomorrow night? I started working on mine, and it looks like it's gonna take a while. I don't think it is urgent for us to be done with this by Tuesday night, but at least over the break, so that during the actual break we can move on to the other analyses and do them then or before the start of next week (i.e. by Tuesday the 27th). What do you guys think? I am only saying this as a heads up that I won't be able to finish everything by Tuesday night. I am still not feeling very well either :(.

Anyway, hope to hear from you guys!

Duaa

I also need help with my data analysis- since I'm doing age- there is a much larger range in this data set as compared to the lab- it goes from 18 to 90..so how would we determine young and old and should we only have two categories? If we were to have more I would have to recalculate chi square completely

I still think we definitely need to meet tomorrow.

Hey Maryam I think a good idea would be to split up the ages according to the US census. There are like 4 or 5 groupings, but from there I think it'd be easier to group them into young, middle and old. I think we should meet tomorrow, with whatever conclusions we have. We can also look at the merged data and try to create a working timetable for the remainder of the semester.
