Hey guys,

I took a look at the final slide deck, and I am just wondering why Arav did the part of the youthful segment again, when I have already done it in the first place? I did the Youthful, and the Working Parent, and you just used the Working Parent.

Also I would suggest that you unify the format across all three segments (In fact that's why I worked on the youthful and the Working Parent). It seems all over the place since you just combined Maryam's, Arav's and my work together. I mean I just felt like I spent a lot of time coming up with some of the basic slides for the youthful segment, and they weren't used.

Finally, I am sorry to say this, but I have a lot on my plate, and I don't think I will be able to meet or do the qualitative analysis part. I believe that I have done my fair share at this point, especially given that I need to focus on my other exams. I would have given this more time if I had some.

Again, I apologize, I am still willing to take a last look, and do some minor edits before submitting it though! Good Luck!! :)

Youthful it is!

Can we just go with youthful then?

The only reason I think that matters is because we frequently refer to the concept of age and how it relates to this segment... doing something like fun-lovers would include a lot more older people in my opinion.

If you guys prefer one of the others, anything on the list looks okay to me and don't mind any!

What about:

Social Leader
Social Striver
Leaders of the Pack
Movers and Shakers
The Fun-Lovers
The FunTimers
The SuperSocials

Pick one, I really don't like the Youthful/Young at Heart, it's way too long.

Hey guys,

Did you want links for the one slide on windows phones current position in the market?

Also, I still feel like youthful might be better than the "attention seeker" because that has quite a negative connotation in my opinion.

Finally, I was planning on editing the managerial summary after the presentation. Not sure how to do that anymore since I won't be here. Would someone else be able to do that? It should be no more than 15 minutes of work.

Best,
Arav

Here is the latest version. As you can see, there's still a lot to be completed. We've also changed the name of the youthful segment to the Attention Seeker (re-recording the animations are not necessary).

After the long deck is completed, we'll decide which slides stay in for the short deck. Cutting and pasting the animations into the full deck hasn't been successful, so Steph, we'll let you know which version is the final so you can add them in.

Arav, since you wrote the current market problems for the slides, can you create a slide of links that you used to gather that information?

Maryam, Joseph and I are meeting tomorrow at 1pm in the Harrison Office. If you are here, please come by, there's a lot to be done (BY 11:59 PM) and we are all very busy.

I feel very strongly about the headings communicating concisely what the main takeaway from the slide is, especially in the context of us not actually presenting.

Hey Duaa,

I didn't come up with any new information. I used your information but the slides were text-heavy so we just decided to make all the slides consistent with smart arts and more images. I believe that Joseph was doing the same for the Working Parent segment.

I think the order is different for each of the segments. Could we make it consistent with the order below?
  1. Defining characteristics of the segment
  2. The features they value in any mobile device (I think this was removed for the youthful segment)
  3. Important features of the Windows Phone to this segment
  4. Perceptual map (how they currently perceive us and where they should)
  5. Our positioning statement
  6. Campaign and messaging tactics
  7. Risks and solutions
Could whoever is working on this please make sure that we have these slides in this order for all of the segments? Also, it does not seem that the working parents segment or business segment have been formatted yet. Whoever formats these, can you please make sure to copy the formatting of the youthful segment (so that its easier and looks consistent).

Thanks,
Arav

Steph – Are you able to send us the data analyses you did (factor analysis, etc.)? Even if there is not a lot we can get from it, it is still important that we show we’ve done it.

Arav – We’ve decided to just do one perceptual map for the overall strategy as we don’t have time to do three different ones.

Also, I’m not on board with the sentences in the heading either. A lot of them are simply repeats of the information on the slides and I don’t think they are necessary.

I'm fine with headings just being phrases if you guys think that's better.

For perceptual maps, it's completely fine if there's no time to do them. I'm just thinking that it might make sense to do none instead of doing one for the overall strategy. Since perceptual maps only have two axes, think it might be difficult to show the overall strategy on a perceptual map. But if you find a good way to do it, go ahead by all means.

Hi, alright-- We can go with phrases for the headings--

I've already sent the factor analysis data on the quant slides-- as for the rest of the analysis-- let me look at what the sample presentations did and I'll send that your way.

Who is doing what right now?

-Steph

Maryam, Jannel – Going through checklist, creating strategies, cleaning up 2nd draft w/o appendices, then doing one w/appendices.

Me – Key insights, supporting data

Steph – Animation Slides – Did you say you were going to put everything on one slide?

Arav – Did you finish with the managerial summary?

Everyone – Look over draft once it is sent out.

Short deck still needs to be created.

I haven't changed the managerial summary since I sent it out a few days ago.

I was waiting until the final deck was sent out. I'm leaving in a bit though so let me know if you want me to do that now or if one of you will look at it later. It should only take 10 minutes to revise.
