Yes, if you don't eliminate the problem, it will continue to get worse to the point where your siding may separate from your house. If your house is like mine, the damage is only from about September to March, so you may have a few damage-free months coming up. Screens don't solve the problem, they cover it up. Some screens are better than others. The better solution would be for your neighbors to change the glass in their windows. However, the greater problem is that your neighbors are sending a focused beam of heat onto your property and it is a fire hazard. The temperature of the beams has been measured at over 500 degrees on one property and there have been numerous documented cases of the windows starting fires.
