Adobe Express content is hosted on Adobe servers. You can embed hosted content (or links to hosted content) in your own site. Adobe Express does not support the hosting of its content directly on your own server.
Adobe-managed hosts are the default host setting for deploying your tag library builds in Adobe Experience Platform. When you create a new property through the Data Collection user interface, a default Adobe-managed host is created for you.
With Adobe-managed hosts, library builds are delivered to a third-party content delivery network (CDN) that Adobe has contracted with. These CDNs operate independently from Adobe, so even when Platform is undergoing maintenance or is otherwise down, your deployed code will continue to function as normal on your sites and applications. The embed code for an Adobe-managed host references the main library file on the CDN so a client device can retrieve the files at runtime.
Library builds are also cached on the browser through the use of the cache-control HTTP header. When using Adobe-managed hosts, you do not have control over the headers returned in API responses, so the Adobe default for caching is used. In other words, you cannot utilize custom headers for Adobe-managed hosts. If you require a custom cache-control header, you may want to consider self-hosting instead.
When you first create a property in the Platform UI or Data Collection UI, an Adobe-managed host is automatically created for you. All available environments that have immediately usable properties are also assigned to the Adobe-managed host by default.
If the default Adobe-managed host is unassigned from all environments, the host can be deleted. If you want to switch back to an Adobe-managed host after doing this, you can create a new host through the following steps:
The application for desktop includes enhanced features to attend and host Adobe Connect meetings. When the meeting room functionality requires it, you are prompted to install the application for desktop from a server. Meeting guests, registered users, and Presenters are also prompted to download the application for desktop if they have an old version installed and are promoted to Host or Presenter role or given enhanced rights to the Share pod. To know more, see Adobe Connect application for desktop.
We have a security scan risk where the request from the browser in Burp is intercepted, modified to have a malicious host, and sent to the server. We have observed that the server redirects to a malicious site.
With the Named Host license model, each Named Host can host a meeting with up to 100 attendees on the Adobe Hosted platform. (Depending on the license, they could have up to only 25 attendees.) Named Hosts can create an unlimited number of meeting rooms. The Named Host can only use one of their rooms at any one time, and rooms cannot be accessed unless the Named Host is present. Named Hosts must be individuals, not groups or generic logins. And, a Named Host license cannot be shared between more than one individual. See the description of common licensing models below for more information.
Adobe has found that some users who license the Named Host model enable non-licensed users to initiate and host meetings without a licensed Named Host present. While this practice goes against the Terms of Service, Adobe Connect currently enables users to get Named Host privileges without actually purchasing a license. With this update, Adobe is engineering the product to operate in accordance with the Terms of Service.
Concurrent User - Adobe Connect Meeting Concurrent User: User can attend or host a meeting on the Adobe Hosted platform. (The licensing enforcement described above doesn't affect Concurrent users.)
Netskope Threat Labs recently discovered a phishing campaign that is abusing Adobe Acrobat to host a Microsoft Office phishing page. While abusing free cloud services to host malicious content is a popular attack technique, this is the first time we have seen Adobe Acrobat used to deliver malicious content.
The attack starts with a phishing email that lures the user into opening a PDF file that redirects them to an Adobe Acrobat URL. This URL is hosting a malicious HTML page, which aims to steal Microsoft Office usernames and passwords. Once the victim enters the credentials in the phishing form, they are sent to a PHP page hosted on another website.
In January 2022, a similar attack was spotted, where attackers were abusing Adobe Creative Cloud to host malicious PDF files. In the recent campaign spotted by Netskope Threat Labs, attackers are instead abusing Adobe Acrobat to host the malicious HTML files.
Different from Adobe Creative Cloud, attackers can easily create free trial accounts in Adobe Acrobat without having to provide credit card numbers or any additional personal information. Once the account is created, the attackers can host and publicly share files. Netskope Threat Labs tested this technique by creating a free trial account in Adobe Acrobat, then uploading and sharing an HTML file in less than 2 minutes.
So, as a hobbyist Designer, how can I use Adobe Photoshop CC without activation? Yes, there is a way. You can use either Windows firewall to block all outbound links from Adobe, or you may also use Windows host file to block those URLs.
One of the latest Marketplace additions is the Adobe Media Server. You can host 100 to 10,000 simultaneous RTMFP connections, all for a $5 monthly fee and at hourly prices that range from $0.19 to $4.13 per hour based on the size of the instance that you launch. Paired with Amazon CloudFront, you can easily and cost-effectively stream live or pre-recorded content to viewers located anywhere in the world.

These two features would go a LONG way to making Publish Online a viable format for professional publishing. I'm sure many clients would pay an extra fee (nothing outrageous) for a self-hosted solution, if that would be necessary for Adobe to commit resources to make this happen.
Would the capability to export out the Publish Online document as a HTML5 package that maybe hosted anywhere, solve your concerns in terms of privacy and security?
While I would not be able to provide an ETA for when this feature would be available, I am confident that we would be able to pick this up as part of our 2024 roadmap.
As you may appreciate, these solutions are complicated in nature and require careful consideration before we ship these out for our customers.
If you have any further questions or if there's anything you would like to discuss, I will be happy to setup some common time for us.
My client has ordered me to take down ALL the interactive documents published on the CC servers since it is not within their security influence, and forbidden to use them ever again. Security- and privacy issues are a growing concern. There is no way to password-protect the interactive documents or allow only access through their own proxy servers... so then we need a way for them to host the documents themselves on their Sharepoint intranet or other secure servers. Interactive pdf (or what's left of it) is as dead as a doornail, so that is no alternative; export as epub requires a reader and doesn't work in browsers... In conclusion: if this feature is not implemented quickly, they (and us, sadly too) will be forced to turn our backs on Adobe as a partner.
I love the concept of publish online, and use it in a number of instances when I need something quickly accessible via a web browser. However, because I can't password protect or otherwise restrict access, I have to be cautious not to publish proprietary company information this way. If I could export to this format, but host the files on our company intranet with it's existing access control, that would open up a number of possibilities when publishing training material and other sensitive information.

Hosting Adobe Photoshop on a virtual desktop can provide photo editors and designers with more flexibility and relieve them of worries related to local resources, allowing their imaginations and creativity to flow freely. Here are some potential benefits of hosting Adobe Photoshop in the cloud.
Adobe uses its website as a channel of distribution of material company information. Financial, product and other material information regarding Adobe is routinely posted on and accessible at www.adobe.com or www.adobe.com/ADBE.
The table contains metadata of actual network communications. It is accurate and complete insofar as I did not alter anything. I did, however, remove some internal systems and the results of manual web browsing (or similar). Some hostnames may be specific to our location (Germany).
