to Window 2000 Server Tips on IIS and other issues

I'm convinced there is someone out there that can help me with this
problem. I am a new techie and am going through the growing pains of
setting up a server. Here is what I have done.

1. I have high-speed internet at home with a static IP
2. I am running Windows 2000 Server.
3. I have IIS running and need to host 4 websites with this 1 IP
address that I have.
4. IIS is runnning and the sites are parked on port 80.

The problem I have is, each site that I type into my address bar takes
me to the Default Website, why is this? Secondly, what is DNS and
can someone tell me how to set it up in plain english. I am desperate
an really need help here in Chicago.

Thanks,
Jerry
