trouble with jquery traversing

The above gist contains a script that repros a problem I'm having: using a jquery selector that includes a traversal.

Any idea why this is failing? Is it possible that windmill just doesn't handle selectors that contain traversals?

This was a bug, I checked a fix into trunk a couple days ago -- all working now.
