Fwd: can I tell windmill to use a specific FF profile?

I have been going back and forth with Jimmy Chan about how to get around the "file download" dialog problem and it sounds like he came up with a great solution.

Thanks man. Now, by using customized profile, I can download a file from the web page to a specific location and the file download dialog won’t pop up.

 

Here is what I did for downloading *.zip file, no more window download dialog J

 

1. uncheck ‘confirm open after download’ option for the my file type ‘ZIP’ under Folder Options -> Advanced

 

 

2. uncheck ‘show the downloads window when downloading a file’

3. pick save files to …

 

4. set zip content type to save file

Can someone get me the specific preferences set by this?

You can check about:config in Firefox for the changed prefs.

Once we have the raw prefs that were changed we can add a general purpose feature to windmill for this.
