Key Club New England District Call for Attendees

The New England District of Key Clubs will hold its annual convention
in Springfield, MA the weekend of March 28 - 30. Convention (also
known as DCON) is an event where Key Clubbers come together (over 800)
along with advisors and other supporters to share what they have done,
learn more about what Key Club stands for, train new leaders, and have
a great time.

Windham High School Key Club will send members of our club who want to
share in this experience, learn more about Key Club, meet other Key
Clubbers from New England, and consider committing to help lead your
club next year.

When: March 30, 31, and April 1.
Where: Springfiled MA - Marriott and Sheraton Hotels (they are joined
together)
Who can attend: Any WHS Key Club members who have paid dues and
participated in events during the year. Seating may be limited to the
first 10 (more might be possible) who register.
Transportation: We are planning to join South Portland and Scarborough
High Schools on a chartered coach leaving Friday morning and returning
Sunday afternoon / evening.
Events of the Weekend: dances, games, caucuses, elections, training
sessions, talent show, awards presentations and more.
Cost: $145 for the conference which includes lodging at the hotel
(quad occupancy) and two lunch meals. Other meals are at your expense.
Additional costs for transportation ($45) may be necessary though Key
Club / Kiwanis may be able to help with this.

Seats may be limited, so start thinking now. Deadline for registration
including registration and medical forms and payment is Friday,
February 8.

weekend. Get your registration materials at the next meeting or see
