we would be signing up this week at a meeting. Well, I forgot that we
didn't have school today, so there was no meeting. So, if you want to
participate in the Gobble Wobble on Friday from 6-8 pm in the Middle
School Cafeteria, please come see me and tell me that you want to
attend and I will write you in on the sign up sheet. MAKE SURE YOU ARE
SURE YOU CAN GO BEFORE YOU SIGN UP.
FYI - The Gobble Wobble is an event at the Middle School for younger
kids that is set up to get kids excited for Thanksgiving and the
holiday season. There will be pumpkin bowling, cranberry bounce, and
many other events based on Thanksgiving and Autumn in general. It is
hosted by the Parks and Rec. Department and will run from 6-8 p.m. in
the Middle School Cafeteria. The event actually begins at 6:30, but
volunteers need to arrive at 6 pm.
If you plan on volunteering at this event, please tell me either
Tuesday or Wednesday so that I can tell the Parks and Rec people if we
will be helping. Also, if you could fill out the permission slip and
give that to me at the time you sign up, it will make sure that this
and all other events you participate in are ones that you are allowed
to go to.
