I went to C C lake Sun eve.  Sailed from 6 to 8 pm.  Uta had been there since 1.  A man and woman were there also. I don't remember seeing them before.  They all left the water before I got on it.  For a while Sunday, there must have been an equal number of women if not more on the lake than guys  2 - 2 or 2 - 1. That is a good thing. Got lots of great runs accross the lake.  8.5 sailworks sail was perfect on my 150 liter yellow board.  Much of the time the gusts lasted long enough to make it almost all the way across the lake.  Some gusts lasted the whole way across and part of the way back.  I sailed by myself for two hours.  It was well worth it.  I was hoping to see Chris and Bob M as they commented they may come.

I was out at CC lake around 12:30 pm or so and couldn't tell if it was just low wind or shadowed because of SE wind.  I did an SUP session for an hour, then when it hadn't really turned on by 1:30 -ish, went out with Ben and Chad to take a chance and check out L370, and it was perfect big sail conditions.   For a long while L370 was very filled in making for screaming runs all the way down the lake on the 9.5m and 145L board, as it got closer to 6 pm the gusts started to separate out more and more, so we called it a day.  Sounds like around this time, the wind may shifted enough to straight S to make CC work for a good evening session.

Yes the wind seemed to come more south and the strong wind was sustained to have some good blasting runs.  I stayed at the northern end of the lake and the wind was better than it usually is at C C.  Too bad I missed everyone.  But as you all know those solitary times being alone with the wind, and the waves speaks to the soul.

When I went, it was rather windy with white caps and swells, I spend some time in the water.  Music from the boat house, was quite pleasant.  My respect to the windsurfer who wore a helmet. I'll do the same next time.   I was glad not to have the sharks around as I did in Florida, hence, I really enjoyed my water time as well.
