14 mph base wind with gusts to 26mph from 9AM until 4 pm forecasted
for today Wednesday at Alton. 15 mph base wind from 1pm to 3pm. The
direction is not perfect but nearly so: straight from the W (perfect
would be WNW or ESE). Anybody willing to go? Carlyle is another
option; however, further away. The wind there will be very stable at
14mph base wind with 25mph gusts; however, only from 9AM to 2PM; it
drops to 13mph after 2PM.
