We offer three types of courses: self-paced courses, cohort courses, and certificate programs. Self-paced courses are fully online and flexible, so you can take them from any time zone, anywhere in the world. These courses take between 1-8 hours to complete, and you can complete the course any time within 90 days. Courses consist of a series of videos, activities, and small assignments.
All course materials, including videos, activities, and assignments will be available while you are enrolled in a course. We provide 90 days of access from the date of purchase, so you may spread your learning over multiple weeks, or refer back to it multiple times during your access period. You will only have access to the course materials while enrolled.
We also have certificate programs that consist of multiple courses. After completing a certificate, you will receive a certificate of completion via email as a downloadable PDF within 1-2 weeks of completing the final required course. Certificates are configured for uploading and sharing on LinkedIn.
We offer a discount when you enroll in multiple courses at the same time through some of our certificate programs, including Foundations in Design Thinking, Business Innovation, Human-Centered Strategy, and Communicating for Impact.
We typically are not able to accommodate bank transfer or invoicing. However, if your order includes 10 seats or more, please contact he...@ideou.com and our team will be happy to review your request.
The simulations are fun. It lets you apply the content and learn which approach works best for each situation. You will find that your methodology changes based on the person you are negotiating with.
I have really enjoyed how the role-play aspects of this course gave me an opportunity to try some of the things we have learned. I have been lucky to have a great group of people in my team that has made the negotiations fun and interesting.
I kind of dreaded this topic as I have never liked any formal contract negotiations that I have played a part in. However, as I learned more about this class, I realized how much of my job includes negotiating with people. I found the content very relevant and have 2 opportunities in the next week to utilize these skills.
To earn a Professional Certificate, you must complete the four courses in the program. For those who do not want to commit to the full program, courses can be taken on an individual basis. Savings apply when enrolling into the full program.
I am a bit lost and dunno where I should start. I am a web developer (mostly working with PHP and JavaScript) and just started using Power Pages for a project but I am finding everything very restricted. After a few researches, I was able to use VS Code to personalize some basic things on the page. However, I cant find much info about how to customize the pre-existing elements of PP, or if we can even do this, without using the UIs.
I was wondering if anyone took any course, know any good "advanced" one or can give me a direction about what I should do to modify elements that are existing? (most of the courses I found were about the Power Platform or just basic things on how to build pages and customize only using the UI of the pp website.
In VS Code, I have a workspace with my page but I can only add JavaScript, CSS, ... but how do I modify an element that I don't even know the name or how to instantiate it?
For example: I have a List that has a Calendar View but I can only see information in there, and I would like the user to click on that and this would take them to another part of the website, so far they can only click and "expand" to see. (below)

I don't know if you're anything like me, but I've purchased courses that I have never actually started. More than one. And even when I have made recent buying choices, I've struggled to finish the courses I've bought.
The challenge I see with a lot of online courses, is that they're trying to do too much. They want to introduce you to the topic, train you up in the background, instruct you on strategy, empower you to get into the specific details, and then add more material as bonuses.
But let's be honest. Most of us don't have time for a 20-40 lesson course. Most of us are motivated to buy a massive course, but really need a mini course. We need to learn a specific skill, but sign up for huge courses with tons of skill training.
Think about a course that teaches you to play guitar. It will teach you about guitars, how they work, how they're made, how to string it up, how to play a chord, and all that. That's the normal course.
A mini course delivers value quickly. The nature of the scope is that it quickly engages someone by helping them solve what they want directly. As a result, they see results far more quickly than other courses.
At some point I'll need to write more about how to craft and create a mini course. But until that day, why don't I share with you some mini courses you might dig. Learn from my friend Jennifer who has created a bunch of them.
