Special Session
Infrasound and Low Frequency Noise from Wind Turbines
at
Low Frequency 2012 Stratford upon Avon UK May 22nd – 24th 2012
A session on Infrasound and Low Frequency Noise from Wind Turbines is planned for this 15th conference in the series on Low Frequency Noise and Vibration and its Control. The question “Does infrasound and low frequency noise from wind turbines make people ill?” has come to prominence over the past few years and requires further exploration and discussion. Additionally, generation of low frequencies by wind turbines is not fully understood.
Do you wish to offer a paper? Abstracts are required by 1st February 2012
Or do you wish to come to find out what the experts have to say? Registration will be open in early 2012
The low frequency noise conferences are small specialist meetings, typically around 50 delegates, covering the whole field of generation and effects of low frequency noise.
See www.lowfrequency2012.org where you can join the conference Google Group to receive further information.
