Dear Friends, We hope this finds you well, it is our pleasure to invite you to Wind Empowerment's next Annual General Meeting, which will be held remotely via zoom.
Here is a poll to confirm your participation in the WE AGM, on the 18th of December. If you are not able to participate, please indicate it on the poll and send us a brief email with some news from you and ideas. We will present this on your behalf at the AGM.
During the AGM we will be discussing numerous affairs, overview of accounts, reflections on WE2022 Conference and work embarked on since 2020, and importantly, the voting for new board positions. There have been discussions and interest around the roles, but if you would like to officially apply, the roles are as follows:
Coordinator
Secretary Treasurer Communications Executive Fundraising Exec. Scientific Advisor(s) Working Group Coordinator
We will also discuss specific working group coordinators:
Technology Working Group Coordinator (WGC) Education WGC Measurement WGC Maintenance WGC Market Assessment WGC Delivery Model WGC
At present, these roles are unremunerated, and will be served on a voluntary basis, however, there is precedent for payment, and subject to successful fundraising activities, this arrangement would be open to discussion for the Executive Board and Board of Trustees.
If any of the above are of interest, please write responses to applications attached, outlining your suitability for the role and what you would bring to the position.

These summaries of our discussion have been kept anonymous, but if you were present and would suggest any amends to more accurately reflect your understanding, please let us know.
The meeting minutes also describe an exercise that the group engaged on, where we explored visions of Wind Empowerment and aspirations. We will not have time to embark on a similar exercise during our AGM but any points of interest that you would like to submit for discussion, let us know.
