Hi there,
I have a stator with 4 coils, but they are not labelled. Is there a way to find the correct wiring layout?

Hi Brian,
Seems to me that you need to find the four ends and the four beginnings.
Take one of the coils.
mark the 2 ends of it as A and B.
Then give a DC supply to it, for example 12v.
keep a compass next to it.
From the direction of the compass you can find the top and the bottom. ( A may be a top or B maybe a top, it does not matter, just mark it properly once you discover it )
Follow the same procedure.
Find the other 3 ends and other 3 beginnings.
with this you have 4 tops, and 4 bottoms.
