Congratulations on your work so far. As far as I know we don't have members in Cote d'Ivoire or in the neighbour countries. But this period, Max (who is member of a collective in Germany) is in Sierra Leone giving a training workshop on small wind turbines. I talked with Max in case he can help you, if so, he will contact you directly.

Also, in the second half of 2020 there will be a Wind Empowerment conference in Tanzania, where members from around the world will meet for practical workshops and discussions. If you want I will add you to our newsletter so that you are informed about this.

Hello all,

I have been teaching micro wind since 2017 but only really got organized in 2018 with a group 67 engineering students and graduates.

I organize monthly workshops to cover theory and incrementally to introduce coil winding, stator building, blade carving, and more.

The goal is solely to introduce models that can help charge 12v car batteries for cell phone charging stations in off  grid villages. My units are small and made of wood. 110-270 watts depending on the configuration. If anyone is in Côte d'Ivoire and can lend a hand in the area of voltage regulation, I would be very appreciative of any assistance.
