Hi all,
I know not running related but hoping that some of you might be interested in becoming a mentor or know someone who would be. As some of you know, I started a new role earlier this month. We run the Efrosini Demoulas Scholars Program which pairs first generation college students with mentors along with providing the students with financial support. We are still looking for a few mentors for this upcoming school year. Our mentors play a crucial role in helping our scholars build confidence, navigate challenges, and achieve their goals.
The commitment is typically 2-3 hours per month and is mostly virtual (though there are opportunities for in-person connection). The interest form linked below provides more information about the program.
Schedule a 30-minute zoom call with Elizabeth Grella, EDS Program officer viaher calendly. This call will serve as an opportunity for her to share more details about the program and to learn more about you.
Of course feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
