Seems to load faster, shutting down about the same as .1777.
Still has the problem of totally taking over system settings from
compiz fusion, and only a reboot clears the problem. Probably
something terminal wise that can be done but I don't know what that
would be.
This only happens when running from console, of course I am running
the complete OS and it appears that win4lin is trapping the start or
menu key which is the super key in compiz fusion which for some reason
even after console is closed never gets control back to compiz fusion.

That would explain why floating applications work fine, no need for
menu (super key except for compiz fusion.
Printing and everything else I use so far appears to be working fine.
