I am running Ubuntu 8.10 with all updates. Install of W4L seemed to
go well, installation of Windows XP Home had no apparent issues.

Whenever I try to start windows, It starts fairly quickly, has no
apparent issues until I try to browse internet. I am accessing
internet, but as soon as I start trying to get to any specific page,
(Google, Yahoo, etc) the windows session closes.

Ideas?

there is a crash reported on certain 32-bit Intel processors (like
Pentium M and Core 2 processors with 32-bit kernels) like this.
Currently we are trying to find a solution, but in the meantime, you
can uninstall the Flash plugin using the Add/Remove programs function
of the Control Panel. The Adobe Flash plugin, whether viewing a
flash-enabled website or not, causes this crash.

If you do not have a 32-bit Intel processor please tell us exactly
what CPU you have in your system, and also, the kernel architecture
which you can find out by running the uname -m command from a terminal
window.

Thank you,

I have a Vaio with an intel Centrino, 1.73 GHz, i686 architecture.
Disabling flash did appear to solve the issue for now. Is there going
to be an update to resolve this? If not soon, for now, will using an
older version of flash work?

Hello,

we are indeed working on a fix but so far have no idea when it will be
done. Using an older version of Flash may work, but we don't know...
can you try it and let us know?

Thanks,
