Dear Win-Win Families,
I am writing to share an exciting opportunity for our students to compete on a global stage. We have received an official invitation to the 1st World Wushu Open Championships (WWOC), which will take place September 5–6, 2026, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.
This inaugural event is a major milestone for the international Wushu community and offers unique opportunities, especially for our advanced youth athletes:
- Significant Prize Fund: The 2026 Youth Overall Grand Champion Finals features a total prize fund of USD $15,000.
- Scholarship Opportunities: The championships serve as the official qualifying event for the 2027 International Youth Wushu Scholarship Program, which will award a total of USD $30,000 to outstanding young athletes.
- Academic Inspiration: Distinguished professors from Harvard and Stanford University have been invited as honored guests to present awards, highlighting the event's focus on personal growth and academic excellence alongside sport.
- National Trials: This event also serves as a supplemental Kungfu Team Trial for athletes to qualify for the U.S. National Team.
Participating in a high-level competition like the WWOC is a valuable experience that helps students build confidence, improve discipline, and gain exposure to international cultural exchange.
Important Deadlines:
- Registration Opens: March 8, 2026.
- Early Registration Deadline: July 19, 2026.
If your child is interested in participating, please reply to this email or speak with an instructor as soon as possible. We are happy to help select appropriate divisions and refine forms routines to ensure our athletes are prepared to represent Win-Win Kung Fu with excellence.
In strength and spirit,
Master Bao
