Hi Daniel,
first of all I wish you a happy new year, may this be a particular good one!

Hi Lorenz - best of luck for the new year as well.

Today I tried to set up win_ros SDK Messages on a new machine. Unfortunately the checkout fails while trying to checkout ".../stacks/ros_comm/trunk"
See the screenshot below.

It looks like they finally cleaned out the ros_comm repository from code.ros.org. You can see the commit here: https://code.ros.org/gf/project/ros/scmsvn/?action=ScmCommitBrowse

The stack is now at github.

This will eventually happen with all of those code.ros.org or kforge.ros.org stacks. What is needed is to update those rosinstallers with the github url's and track down which commit corresponds to the revision we originally tagged on. If you could do that and send me a pull request, or even just the updated files, that would be great. I won't be able to look at it until I get back from america in a week.

By the way, we've started work on groovy win_ros. That should be the last big change for the underlying build environment - catkin is mostly mature now. Am hoping to get something working by the end of January.

Regards,
Daniel.

As usual I am happy for every good advice!

Cheers,
Lorenz
