Dear Sir,

Thanks for your email.
We have put our best efforts to complete this assignment within defined TDC, also we have follow the guidelines as much as we could done with the job.
We trust on your and BITS evaluation system but you have directly made a criteria and award the ZERO marks without considering how students did the efforts to make this assignment along with their tough schedule of JOB, nothing positive points considered ie max number of words, references, time lines, summary of information,
we just requesting to you that considering above positive aspects of students you may award at least 50% to student who has made a handsome assignment following the all guidelines except  plagiarism (Cut off May Be 50% or other parameter may be included in assessment criteria).

Sir as this is a WILP course and we people are managing with job, we hope for a fair treatment not in favor of us but positive points must be considered or criteria of assessment may be elaborated.
Same as in other courses as they notice the participation of students in practice sessions, assignment session and the communications with Faculity or supporting team and finally the assignment submitted.
Also we have not got ZERO marks in any assignment till now in this course as well in previous courses.
So you are requested to review our assignments.

Hope you will understand our concern and help us to get some marks as per our positive efforts.

Thanks and Regards
Manoj Kumar Sharma

Hello,

The experiential learning component has been evaluated. The guidelines laid down earlier have been followed during the evaluation process. You can find the basis for this evaluation by clicking here, where I announced the marking criteria clearly.

I have already received a few e-mails from students regarding my approach toward plagiarism. I have emphasized on plagiarism and proper referencing multiple times during my communication, and provided you relevant materials / links to such materials while giving the assignment. 40% cut-off was maintained for plagiarism, as this is considered very high, as per any standard. While counting for this 40% material, any quoted texts (except for a few assignments, which had more than 30% of content in quotes only), bibliography or images were not considered. Moreover, up to 50 words copied from one source is also ignored from being counted as plagiarism. This check is not any subjective judgment from my side and hence I do not have to reconsider any issue related to plagiarism.

This being a group assignment, I cannot judge all students individually, except for the extreme cases of zero participation in the activity.  Other than this, if you have any concern related to the evaluation of the assignment. you are most welcome to contact me through e-mail.

Best wishes,

Nirankush Dutta
