Assignment Marksby NIRANKUSH DUTTA . - Wednesday, 22 November 2017, 8:29 AMHello,
The experiential learning component has been evaluated. The guidelines laid down earlier have been followed during the evaluation process. You can find the basis for this evaluation by clicking here, where I announced the marking criteria clearly.
I have already received a few e-mails from students regarding my approach toward plagiarism. I have emphasized on plagiarism and proper referencing multiple times during my communication, and provided you relevant materials / links to such materials while giving the assignment. 40% cut-off was maintained for plagiarism, as this is considered very high, as per any standard. While counting for this 40% material, any quoted texts (except for a few assignments, which had more than 30% of content in quotes only), bibliography or images were not considered. Moreover, up to 50 words copied from one source is also ignored from being counted as plagiarism. This check is not any subjective judgment from my side and hence I do not have to reconsider any issue related to plagiarism.
This being a group assignment, I cannot judge all students individually, except for the extreme cases of zero participation in the activity. Other than this, if you have any concern related to the evaluation of the assignment. you are most welcome to contact me through e-mail.
Best wishes,
Nirankush Dutta
