Dear Sir,

With reference to recent decision of Supreme Court on technical education on distance mode we have received a clarification from BITS Pilani from website(Attached) ,this is to inform you that i have filled a RTI to MHRD and UGC for recognition of WILP courses but unfortunately the statement of BITS Pilani and UGC is not matching on the recognition of WILP Courses.
UGC replied that UGC has not granted any permissions/approval to BITS Pilani to conduct programmes under WILP Mode (Refer attached reply).

Also please note our company also in doubt to recommend the employees for WILP Courses and we are at last stage to complete our B.TECH from BITS PILANI.

You are requested to provide a concrete and validated reply for recognition of WILP courses.
