I am offering a 6-week meditation course titled Yoga as a Mindfulness Practice.  The course is being offered through Harmony Yoga at 5201 Oleander Drive and will meet there on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 – 7:00 beginning January 23 until February 27.  Traditionally, yoga was a program of character development using the practices of mindfulness and meditation to cultivate wholesome mind states and create a stronger spiritual connection.  The class is suitable for individuals with little or no yoga or meditation experience as well as anyone wanting to expand their practice and explore meditation more deeply.  Students will be encouraged to develop a home meditation practice.  A period of meditation practice will be offered in each class.  The facility fee for the entire course is $25.00.  Students will be encouraged to offer dana after the course is completed as their spiritual practice in generosity.  Space is limited so call soon to register at 910-795-0603.
