Lollipop Kids - Logistics PLEASE READ

Hello again, Parents! We're sorry to deluge you with emails about the play, but we want to give you all of the requisite information to ensure your kids have a successful, enjoyable experience. 

Drop-Off/Pick-Up

Performances are Thursday and Friday mornings, and Thursday and Friday evenings, plus a Saturday Matinee. Teachers will send kids out at their call times for morning performances. For evening performances, please have your child arrive by 5:45 p.m. and on Saturday, please have your child arrive by 1:15 p.m. For evening and Saturday performances, please drop off and pick up your Lollipop Kids in the yard at the benches near the play structure. You must sign your Lollipop Kid in and out for EACH performance (we appreciate your cooperation with this policy). If parents are not audience members, you MUST pick up your kids no later than 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday evening and no later than 2:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. If parents will be in the audience during either of these performances, please let the Lollipop Kid Check-in/Check-out volunteer know when you drop off your child, and your child will be sent into the audience during intermission. For your child’s safety, we will institute a strict Check-in/Check-out policy for Lollipop Kids. 

Performance Details

Lollipop Kids will watch the remainder of the play after their performance on Thursday morning. On Friday morning, they will be sent directly back to their classroom after their performance early in Act I. Please let your Lollipop Kid know that this group will not have a curtain call (bowing onstage) at the end of the show. Because of the large number of kids in the play, we can’t accommodate them safely.

Reminder to Wear Blue Jeans

Please dress your Lollipop Kid in blue jeans (plain, no rips) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - this is part of the costume. Please also put a sleeveless undershirt on your child so he/she can change in the hallway or out on the yard. 

Reminder to Pay $4 for your T-shirt

This year's Lollipop Kids will keep their souvenir t-shirts after the play is over. Thanks to all those who have already contributed their $4 to help make these cute costumes possible. I've received contributions from the following kids. If your kid's name isn't on the list and you've already paid, it is entirely possible that I've committed a data entry error, so please just let me know. If you haven't paid, please send your child with $4 in an enveloped marked with his or her name and "lollipop" sometime this week. Thanks! Marisa
