Hi all,

 

Its an exciting time for space travel as NASA is set to launch Artemis I on Monday Aug 29, the most powerful rocket ever made (8.8 million pounds of thrust), and begin our journey back to putting people on the surface of the Moon and then beyond the Moon. It all starts next week!!

While the Artemis I mission is unmanned, it is a test for Artemis II which will have a human crew on board. How to watch the launch? Very easy but you have to wake up early on Monday...Launch window on Monday morning opens at 5:33am Pacific time.

And I suspect there will be many other livestreams available on Monday and TV coverage and you'll be seeing increased news coverage about this over the weekend.

The last rocket of this size to launch from the US was a Saturn V in 1973 as a part of the Apollo program. A very exciting time for NASA.

The Artemis I mission is scheduled to end on Oct 10 with a splashdown about 50 miles off the coast of San Diego!

Hello Everyone,

Sadly, the days of the haunted Hoag house have come to an end. My teens are more interested in girls than ghouls and its not cool anymore. 

I’m clearing out a warehouse this coming Friday. On Saturday between 9-10am I will have a truck load of Halloween decorations free to only the folks living on Willowmere Lane. This is to keep the decorations in the hood for all to enjoy. Anything left over will be donated to Goodwill.

I just brought back two additional boxes of skeletons and ghost they were in another warehouse the boxes are in the driveway please help yourself it’s not Halloween without  a skeleton in your yard
