Fall 2019 Rehearsal Schedule

Good evening all,

Below is our rehearsal schedule for the Christmas season.

Firstly, a few notes:

1. There is no WWII concert this year because, as far as I know, there is no WWII weekend this year.

2. Our concert date is 12/15, pending location availability.  We need to discuss as the Board where we want to have the concert this year, and then make sure we have access to whatever venue that is.  Here's what's important for you to know:  If the concert date were for some reason to change, it would move forward one week to 12/8.  The season will NOT go any later than 12/15.  So if you are making travel plans or other holiday plans, you can be confident that after 12/15, your WCB obligation will be over.

3. We are hoping to move our winter rehearsal site from St. James Brethren to the newly built Rehoboth United Methodist Church on Lappans Road near the intersection with MD632.  While we have a sort of a loose handshake agreement on that, it is not official yet, which is why I say "hoping."  That is the location I am listing for our later rehearsals, and if something changes I will let you know.

With all of that said, here is the rehearsal schedule:

9/22: 2-4p, Springfield Barn

9/29: 2-4p, Springfield Barn

10/6: 2-4p, Springfield Barn

10/13: 2-4p, Springfield Barn

10/20: 2-4p, Springfield Barn

10/27: NO REHEARSAL

11/3: 2-4p, RUMC (NOTE: Daylight Savings Time begins this week)

11/10: 2-4p, RUMC

11/17: 2-4p, RUMC

11/24: 2-4p, RUMC

12/1: NO REHEARSAL

12/8: 2-4p, RUMC

12/12: Tentative Dress Rehearsal (will only be used if the concert is at WHS), 6:30-8:30p

12/15: CONCERT (TBD)

BoD, remember that, even though the band does not rehearse, there is a meeting on 9/15 at the barn at 2p.
