Hello all
My son Henri (WS) is 3 and has (in the last few days) developed a tendency to bump his head deliberately against something when he gets upset (like when he hears a sound he doensn’t like or when his little brother takes something from him). Does this have to do with sensory processing disorder or anger manangement? Has anyone had a similar experience? Will sensory integration help?
It really upsets me to see him do it and I try to distract him whenever it happens, but I can’t watch him every second.

My experience with Johan when he was behaving "aggressively?" came
from when he was +- six/seven years old and he would come home from
school (nursery school:junior class) and then through himself on the
ground (tantrum) crying and kicking - he did this a couple of times
until I realised his behaviour was speaking to me: undertstan my
stress - I cannot cope with certain situations, will some one please
help me understand myself/stress. I made time to try and find out what
would upset him: is it a situation at school/at home - HE DID NOT KNOW
HOW TO RELATE HIS FEELINGS and did the "childlike thing" = tantrum.
I do not think you shoud read more into it, though if this continues
and you become really worried, please send an enquiry to my email
address at ngn...@net4u.co.za and I will take it up with the WSF in
the UK who has already anwered some of the questions that parents
addressed to me.
