I had a dream the other night that a woman I know was punching me,
hard,
in the face. She was blindfolded and could not hear my calling her
name
(or chose not to respond). After getting up repeatedly only to be
struck
again (I would not strike back) I eventually moved a distance away and
saw
that she continued to strike at the empty air where I had stood.

I realized, she was not striking me. I had just wandered into the
space
in front of her where she fought her demons. As I could no longer
communicate with her, I went my way.
