70 days until The Tour Kicks

Yeah. 70 days. 10 weeks. Ask me if I have butterflies the size of
battlecruisers.
I have to focus on several aspects to make sure I carry my end of the
deal for the
tour. And continue getting back in shape physically and emotionally.
The voice, by the way, is cream. I'm in the best voice of my career.

Some of the hairier things I am wrestling with, alone:

Logistics: Making sure the equipment and merch gets where it has to.

Scheduling: Confirming dates and locations...no gigs 1200 miles apart
on
consecutive nights. Or the same night. There's talk of me doing
three gigs on
one night towards the end of the run. Like I will still be standing?
Place your bets
now. I, for one, plan to go until I drop. Think the original
Marathon messenger.

Poetry selection: Which ones get cut, which ones get used?

Music: Do I dare?

Wardrobe: I think I finally finished this one off...we shall see.

Accomodations: Hotels? Sleep in car? Accept warm beds from those
with
obvious muse intentions?

The Evangelist CD

I am rounding the final curve in planning the contents of Evangelist.
My first cover
suffered a pocket veto, and a few of the planned tracks may suffer the
same fate.

We shall see what will be. It is my plan to give both interviewers
Allen Taylor for
Hyperbole ezine and Barbara Holmes for her new blog a peek/listen at
the product,
so they can report in their upcoming interviews what they heard and
where my
head is at. Still attached and glowing in the dark.

Those of you who placed money on "imminent implosion/loss of joy" need
to
pay up now. I'm standing. This CD will speak to that.

The Blogroll Rolls on

I have started expanding my "Recommended Sites" listing on the blog,
heading for
a theoretical cap of about 100 sites. Recent additions include the
informative and hilarious "SinSecret's Sex Blog", "Susan Sonnen's
Musings" and "My Life as It Is, Was and Will Be", by SSGreylord. And
don't miss my friend Robin's "the Curious Life of a Divorcee". Well
worth a visit, all of them. Yes, Richard, even yours.

I promised, a long time ago, to all my readers and believers, that you
would hear
bones splinter and crack and my own flesh tear apart before I would go
to my
knees another time. I have kept faith with that. Anyone have a band-
