Is it possible that the drop in hits per second from jmeter is induced due to the slow / no response from jetty server.? Are there any rules around matching the Jmeter thread count with the target web server's connection pool. ?
Note: I understand that the throughput generally depends on the response from the Application Under Test. But will Jmeter's hits per second to the target server be in any way be affected by the Application under test.?
Update: From , its clear that there is a correlation between Hits per second and Application Under Test. But my issue is that everythings fine for the first 2 hours. After which the Hits per second drops.
Preservative-free eye drops are increasingly being preferred by patients and clinicians due to their low side effect profile and minimized impact on the ocular surface. Now, glaucoma patients on drop therapy can also reap the benefits of a preservative-free formula following the recent FDA approval of a new 0.005% latanoprost solution by Thea Pharma, Inc. The drop, called Iyuzeh by the company, is made without any of the common ophthalmic solution preservatives including benzalkonium chloride. It was approved to reduce elevated IOP in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
The company noted in its press release that Iyuzeh showed consistent IOP-lowering ability and good patient tolerability in clinical trials. In patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, treatment with the drop vs. a BAK-preserved formula (Xalatan) resulted in comparable IOP reduction (3mm Hg to 8mm Hg vs. 4mm Hg to 8mm Hg). The most common side effects observed in the two company-led clinical trials included conjunctival hyperemia (34%) and eye irritation (19%). For comparison, among patients who took Xalatan, 37% experienced conjunctival hyperemia and 31% experienced ocular irritation.
The drop is recommended by developers to be administered once daily in the evening. IOP reduction occurs approximately three to four hours after drop administration, and the maximum effect is reached after eight to 12 hours, Thea explains. It adds that the IOP-lowering effect persists for a minimum of 24 hours.

Make sure the entire mech is clean from grease, oil or dirt. I typically disassemble the drop banks and polish the rod using a good corded drill. This piece gets super ashy and people grease them sometimes. Having them shiny and clean always help the drops work more efficiently.
Just experienced this. Recently got a Joker Poker and 2 of the 3 Queen drop targets would not drop on direct hard hits. Tried numerous things, none of which worked. I had someone else look at the issue and they noticed the rubber was the wrong size!
i found it very important to have your drop target flush to the front of the PF hole, to allow maximum amount of space behind them to recoil when hit and have have time to be dropped by a strong new spring.
The only time I actually do try to keep myself from doing too many is when I practice with my friend Tupu: we're good friends, and never would I want to ruin our friendship because of my annoying drop shots ?! That would be a pity.
And the craziest thing of all is that drop shots are so ingrained in me that I don't even have to think anymore where to hit them or where to move afterwards. It all comes automatically! (And it's so handy!)
By rushing to the net (the closer the better!), I leave no chance to my opponent. In fact, unless the drop shot comes out too high (case in which it's more a suicide than a drop shot ?), if my opponent gets to the ball, she will get to it when the ball is already low, which means she'll have to hit it defensively: slow, and low to high. By being at the net, I can close that ball no problem, nice and easy.
That is just too difficult. And the probability of missing it too high. Not worth it! Especially if you also take into account that the further you are from the net, the longer the flight time of your drop shot, which means the easier it gets for your opponent! Definitely a big NO!
That's when it works best! My opponent is in defensive mode, well behind the baseline and ready to contain my next deep, hard shot and... pouf, drop shot it is! Most of the time, she doesn't even try.
Not to mention that the number of slices and drop shots you get to hit from there is all another level. Just think about it: it would take you triple time from the bottom to hit the same number of balls!
Remember: it's not about talent, it's all about practice! And I'm proof of that: if I know how to hit drop shots better than most of my opponents, it's just because I hit so many so often that of course I got the hang of it.
