Upload improvements for Image projects

[Wildlife Insights]

Today, we're rolling out a new Upload module for Image projects. Updates for Sequence projects will come at a later date.

These updates provide more transparency into the status of each upload so you can rest assured each image is uploaded and safely stored in Wildlife Insights. Here's what's new:

• Upload progress bars show you the status of every single image upload;

                            

• If an image fails to upload, we'll show you a list of those failures and automatically reattempt the upload twice;

                             

• The new Upload tab lets you track the status of every upload for a project. You'll see the name of the deployment, the number of images you submitted for upload, the total number of images uploaded to Wildlife Insights and the start and end time.

   

• The Upload Details button gives you an inside look into the upload status. If you see the number of images uploaded is less than the number you submitted, you can click on the Details button to see how many were duplicates, how many failed (i.e., were not uploaded to Wildlife Insights), and how many were unprocessed (i.e., are missing metadata or a Computer Vision identification);

                       

• For any Failed images, you will need to resubmit the file for upload;
• For any Unprocessed images, you can click on the Retry unprocessed images button to complete the upload. You do not need to resubmit the file for upload.
