A Fellowship is available for assistance with analysis of mammal biodiversity data derived from Snapshot USA, a national camera trap survey that has been conducted for 3 years involving participants in all 50 states. The fellow would assist with cleaning the data, analysis of trends and patterns across physiographic regions, and looking at trophic interactions between mammal species. The position is intended to expand the skill set of the Fellow to strengthen their use analytical techniques using large datasets collected over the landscape scale.
Requirements:
Position can either be onsite at Smithsonian’s Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, VA or remote. Stipend is $2000 month for 3 months, starting time would be in January with opportunity for extension beyond 3 months.
