RE Blank Images:  I think it depends on your research site and objectives.  Blank video with audio on is amazing for recording birds and other noise. I like to place a video trail cam with a photo cam. Since WI only allows for photo data uploads, I mostly delete the blank images on the platform. However, it's a great sorting tool. Anything interesting gets backed up in another location.
