We’ve just released a handful of new features to help you stay organized. Thanks for your continued feedback!

Here’s what’s new:

  • Responsive filters on the Identify and Catalogued tabs. If you filter for a deployment, subproject, or species, and then select an option from a second filter, you'll only see results that are relevant to the first filter selected. For example, if I select Deployment 1A from the Deployment filter, and then I open the Species filter, I'll only see a list species that have been found in that deployment.

  • Filters only show results relevant to the Identify or Catalogued tab. All filters on the Identify and Catalogued tab will only show you results relevant to the tab that you're currently navigating. For example, if I have catalogued 100% of the images in Deployment A, I will not see that deployment listed in the Identify tab filter for deployments. No more wasting time searching through filters!

  • The species search doesn't show recent IDs if they don't match the search term. When you start typing a name into the species search box, you'll no longer see all the “Recent IDs” that don’t match the search. You’ll be able to access your search results immediately.

  • "Unknown Species" tag has been updated to "Animal". We've updated the taxonomy listing for "Unknown species" to "Animal". All downloads and references to "Unknown species" will be updated to "Animal". You’ll now be able to search for “Animal” in the species search box.

  • Upload notifications can be minimized or closed. If you’re running multiple uploads, you can minimize the notifications or close them so they won’t get in the way of tagging. Uploads will continue to process until completed.
