Wildlife Insights
I’m excited to report that over the past few months we’ve built out some of the top feature requests we heard would be useful to you. Here are the latest features you’ll see in Wildlife Insights:
Shortcut keys: These shortcut keys can be used to quickly process images. Learn more by hovering over the Shortcut button on the bottom of the image preview. Here are some useful shortcuts:
Ctrl+E - for Edit Identification
Ctrl+B - for Mark as Blank
Ctrl+A - for Accept ID
Recent IDs: This was one of our top requests! As you’re tagging and editing IDs, the 15 most recent IDs that you apply will show up at the top of the search results. This means less typing and more time saved.
New roles: Our new roles give you more flexibility when it comes to collaborating with your team. You can find a complete description of the roles and permissions in our Learning Center online.
Project Tagger: The Tagger can edit IDs but cannot create deployments. You can select whether or not Taggers in your project can upload images.
Project Contributor: The Project Contributor can edit IDs, create deployments and upload images, but cannot edit project details.
Organization Contributor: The Organization Contributor can create projects in the organization but cannot edit details or view other projects in the organization unless explicitly invited.
Organization Viewer: We updated this role so that the Viewer does not have inherited permissions at the project level.
Bulk deployment upload: You can now create many deployments at once by simply uploading a csv template with the required information.
Notification page - You’ll notice a new page called “Notifications”. We’re building this page so that you (as a project owner) will be able to see why, when, and by whom your data was downloaded. This page will be your portal to manage and track your project’s public impact!
