Firewise offers tips for Texas homeowners

As news unfolds about the devastating wildfires in Texas, NFPA and Firewise have reached out to state and local fire officials, the state forest service, and homeowners to lend a helping hand during their time of need. Through a media advisory, blog posts, and updated information on the Firewise website, Texans can continue to access the resources and tips they need including IAFC's Ready, Set, Go! initiative, NFPA's "Get Ready" program, and proven Firewise principles to help keep themselves, their homes and property as safe as possible.
