Urbiculture Farms is currently looking for more yards to transform into gardens for the 2010 growing season!

We are a multi-plot farm committed to sustainably growing affordable, local, and organic food in the City of Denver, providing produce to people of all income levels and building community.

Do you have a yard in the City of Denver that is around 1000 sq ft or larger that is yearning to be transformed into food that will be grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers? Does your business or church have grass that is watered continually and you want to see food instead of lawns grown there? Do you drive by a large vacant lot in the city that could use a food makeover?

Last year was Urbiculture's first year transforming yards into gardens. We are looking to build upon our success and to do a lot more this year so that we can provide even more healthy and delicious food to a growing number of people who value local food. We sell the produce through a sliding scale Community Supported Agriculture program and we are on our way to becoming a non-profit!

Please check out our website at www.urbiculturefarms.com and pass this on to anyone who might be interested. We will be making our rounds around town to find the best spots to host gardens within the next month so contact us soon if you are interested.

We are also beginning to fill our 2010 CSA memberships. Contact us soon for more information and pricing on shares of our weekly harvest that begin at the end of May and go until the middle of October.

Please check out our website or contact us for other opportunities to get involved.
