[WF26] Are there any new release plans in response to new vulnerabilities?

Thank you for your kind reply to the last inquiry.
This time, I would like to inquire about the release plan for WF26.

With the release of WF26.1.3 on January 18, 2023, you explained that considering the severity of the CVE-2022-46364, the transition to WF27 could take a long time.

I'd like to know if you still maintain a consistent policy internally.

In the event of a new serious vulnerability in the future, I would like to know if there are any plans to release a new version of WF26 that responds to the vulnerability.

Hi,

Thank you for your question, and I apologize for the slow reply.

We have no current plans for further releases in the 26.1.x series.

Our general release policy is to do one bug fix release per feature version release. Any additional bug fix releases would be a policy exception, as 26.1.2 and 26.1.3 were.

If something changes and we decide to do another 26.1.x release, I'd announce that decision on this forum. To be honest though, it seems like as time passes the odds of that happening go down.
