Need - WildFly preview Vs Wildfly

Hi All,

Need some help on a basic question.

The EAP 7.4 equivalent wildFly version is 23 but the download link here syays 23 is a Preview relase. I do see that from v23 to 26 all are tech preview release.

What does this mean ? Are these preview versions are qualified enough to recommend in production stage?

Is my understanding correct ? is there any other place to download WFly standard releases (other than preview release) ?

Appriciate yiur help in advance.

WildFly produces two variants for each release, standard WildFly and WildFly Preview.[1] In the block for each release version on https://www.wildfly.org/downloads/ there is a download link for both. "WildFly Distribution" is standard WildFly; "WildFly Preview Distribution" is WildFly Preview. It's WildFly Preview that is tech preview.

Final releases of standard WildFly are not tech preview.
