windows Service stop error 1053

Hi there.
The Windows service starts up fine, but after some time, it either doesn't stop or takes a very long time to stop.
When it fails to stop, it throws a Windows error 1053.
For JBoss, upgrading the jbcs-jsvc version seems to resolve the issue.

For Wildfly, the current version of prunsrv appears to be 1.0.15.0.
Are there any remedies available for this error?
