Hi, we held our 2nd WildFly Community call today.

As a reminder this call is open to any community members -- users and developers alike. This call will occur every 2 weeks and the next one will be on Thursday, Oct. 2nd.

• Java SE 25 and WildFly

  • Slides 19-20 from https://www.wildfly.org/assets/conference/202403-whats-new-and-roadmap.pdf describe how we handle what we say about SE support

  • For WildFly 38, Java SE 25 will be in the 'Qualifying' category

  • We'll want to get it 'Recommended' in WildFly 39 or 40

• What do you think about doing project spotlights?

  • WildFly has a huge code base and also integrates dozens of Open Source projects. We could have short spotlights (~15 minutes) on some of these projects, what they provide, what’s coming (e.g. Undertow, RestEasy, Elytron).

• Deep dive into moving to Junit 5 for the WildFly test suites
